About us

I run this with a few friends who help read entries. We are not a company, a lab, or a school programme. We fund the prize ourselves. A previous Birdspiracy competition drew around 800 student registrations.

How we judge

Where an entry sits outside what we can judge well, we bring in a reader who knows the field. Read the judging criteria.

What we promise

No entry fee. Registration and submission data is stored in Google Forms and used only to run this competition and to contact your team about it. We will only publish an entry with your consent. If you ask, we will tell you what your entry scored and where it lost points.
